Ahmad Fannon is a personal trainer in Richmond, Texas. His coaching business already worked — he had an intake form for new clients and a separate platform where existing ones logged in to track their progress. What he didn't have was anywhere to send someone first.
The challenge
Nothing in the setup needed replacing. The intake form did its job, and Ahmad had already chosen the platform he wanted clients using to follow their progress. The problem was the seam between them: every new client arrived as a handful of links in a message, with no single place explaining who Ahmad was, what he offered, or which link to click when.
What I did
- Built a single page covering his services and his background, so a prospective client can decide before ever messaging him.
- Put the two things a visitor might want — sign up, or log in — side by side in the hero rather than at the bottom of a scroll.
- Pointed “Sign up today” at his existing intake form and “Members login” at the coaching platform he had already picked, so nothing he relied on had to change.
- Kept it to one page. The site's job is to explain and hand off, not to hold everything.
The outcome
Ahmad now sends one link instead of several. A prospective client lands on the page, gets a sense of who he is and what he offers, and either signs up or logs in from the same screen — while the tools he was already using keep doing their jobs behind it.
