Iglesia Pentecostal Casa de Dios

Homepage of the Iglesia Pentecostal Casa de Dios church website, a custom Next.js site designed and built by Enoch Studio

Iglesia Pentecostal Casa de Dios is a community church in Houston with a bilingual, English- and Spanish-speaking congregation. They needed a website that worked as a genuine front door — a place where a first-time visitor could find service times, get a feel for the community, and take a next step before ever walking through the physical doors.

The challenge

The congregation moves between English and Spanish, so the site couldn't treat one language as an afterthought. It also needed to surface the practical questions a nervous newcomer is too shy to ask — when and where the church meets, what a typical service is like, and how to plan a first visit — without burying that information behind menus.

What I did

  • Created the visual identity and designed the full UI/UX from scratch — no templates.
  • Built the site on Next.js for fast loads and clean, accessible markup.
  • Designed a bilingual experience so English and Spanish content sit side by side, not as a bolt-on translation.
  • Implemented a Sanity CMS so staff and volunteers can update service times, events, and sermons without touching code.
  • Put service times, location, and a clear 'plan your visit' path above the fold.

The outcome

Casa de Dios now has a welcoming, mobile-first home online that speaks to its congregation in both languages and answers a newcomer's first questions in seconds. Because the content lives in a CMS, the team keeps service times and events current themselves — the site stays alive instead of going stale the month after launch.
